Pay Commisssion

The state government late on Saturday evening approved the 6th Pay Commission recommendations for higher education teachers. The state cabinet gave its nod to the pay revision approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). According to the decision, state universities and degree colleges will have revised scales as per the rules and regulations of UGC. The benefit will be given with effect from January 1, 2006.
