What is C Form ?
Form C is issued by the dealer for purchasing goods from the dealer out side the state in which he resides the effect can be understood ny looking at following example IF Mr A Registered Dealer in Hyderabad (AP) wants to purchase goods from Mr B a registered dealer in Mumbai.Mr B who is selling the goods will charge VAT @ 4% or 12.5% on the goods if Mr A issues him “C” Form then Mr B should Charge him CST @ 2% so Mr A is SAving Tax.

Please give me details about C Form
Received C Form from the party of Banglore. The said C Form is on a plane paper with only stamp of sales tax Dept. without any signature of sales tax officer. We are registered under Surat Gujrat Our vat auditor object to the said form being not genuine. Kindly explain how i can satisfy him about the genuiness of the said form

In case of C/E1 transactions who will be liable to deposit the tax amount to the Sales Tax Authority (Buyer/Seller/Consignee) , what will be the role and liability of buyer in this transaction, will the buyer can collect tax from the consignee. (Will the Consignee/ultimate buyer to be issued “Form C” to the buyer), and (will the buyer issue Form C to the seller) and (will seller issue Form E1 to the buyer?)

if authorised dealer purchase the albums from other state and if the dealer issue the albums to his retailers as a gift with other products it is exempt from tax or the dealer as to pay 2% tax?
