They are having GR8 time in e-governance,viz.filing of Registration,filing of Monthly Returns,etc. But when it comes to Monthly Payments of WCT/BST/CST,this stupid Dept. has not YET finalised the procedure for E-PAYment like the TDS on Incomes obligation on Employers. While E-PAYMENT is possible in case of Income TAx,in case of Sales Tax,the GOM is lagging far behind with not even a hint of the possibility of E-PAYMENT OF SALES TAX DUES. Why? Becoz the karmacharis in the Sales Tax Dept. still want "haftas" for locating the "PAID CHALLANS" which they will ask for and insist AFTER 5-6 YEARS down the line?? The Maha Govt. Sales Tax Dept.had better wake up from its DEEP LAZINESS AND SLUMBER....so typical... FUNNY: THIS GOVT.OF MAHARASHTRA SALES TAX DEPT.
