I am a pensioner from Bureau of Indian Standards. All the arrears of sixth
pay commission have been paid in the current F.Y. As a result the 40% arrears
Rs 150000 which should have been paid last year have made my income in this financial year reach Rs 500000 which implies that 20% i.e.Rs 30000
extra as tax .If I had received it last year I would have paid only 10% tax i.e.
15000. Thus Iam having to pay Rs 15000 more tax only for the fault of my office in delaying the payment into next financial year.
Please advise what can be done to save this extra tax burden.

Sir,
I Ex Hav/PA put in 17 years of service and pre mature discharged on 30th June 2008 my last basic as per V Pay Commission is 5050/- and as per VI Pay Commission PB-I 5200-20200 (as per PPO my last basic is 9760/- with GP 2400/-). At present I join Central Govt as LDC after retirement i.e. on 15 Sep 2009 having pay scale of PB-1 (5200-20200) and my basic fix on 5830/- + GP 1900/-. Kindly tell me is I am eligible for pay fixation and what is the authority for pay fixation to Armed forces personel after retirement if they join any Central/State Govt or any Govt automonus body.

childcare leave is different from earned leave,as ccl is only for child care and there are lot of works other than child care for which a woman worker has to do. so E/L should be calculated separately from child care leave. eg, if some body wants go on LTC for which she needs E/L .But to take CCL she has to finish E/L everytime.it is just waste of E/Ls, which can be beneficial during retirement time.let me get its solution.
